Intern housing
NYC Summer Intern Housing in Lincoln Square, Upper West Side
Stratford Residences was designed, from the beginning, around how interns actually come to New York: three- month programs, tight windows to find a place, no New York credit history, and limited tolerance for moving furniture across a continent. Everything about our building is tuned to that reality.
Why NYC
Why a summer in New York is worth it.
The density matters. A summer intern in New York can ride two trains to headquarters, meet three alumni for coffee on the same block, see a show on a weeknight, and still be home by eleven. No other US city compresses professional access and cultural life the way Manhattan does. For early-career work — finance, media, tech, design, fashion, law, science — the on-ramp is here.
Why Lincoln Square
Why Lincoln Square works.
Lincoln Square is quiet enough to sleep, dense enough to be interesting, and well connected enough to get almost anywhere in 20 minutes. The 2 and 3 express you to Midtown in five minutes; the B/C take you under Central Park. Juilliard and Lincoln Center are four blocks south, Columbus Circle and Midtown are an easy walk, and Central Park starts one block from the door. For an intern, it is the rare New York neighborhood that is both central and sane.
